Has May arrived at last? Wildflowers on the river banks

All the wild spring flowers have appeared at once, in profusion along the river after just one or two warm days - but now it's cold again.
Here's a May calendar of wild flowers all here, on the riverside, with the dates when photos were taken (not necessarily when they first appeared) starting with the most recent:


31st May   Wintercress     (Barbarea vulgaris)
Damp places along streams and around ponds


23rd May  Greater  Stitchwort  (Stellaria holostea)
Woodland and hedgerows


19th May   Herb Robert  (Geranium robertianum)
Banks and light woodland


19th May    Germander Speedwell  (Veronica chamaedrys)
Hedgerows, shady banks


and two foodplants for the ORANGE TIP butterfly:
